Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
